What is Koina?
Koina is an app built for people who are looking to find community within their churches — beyond Sunday morning small talk.
Trying to meet new people can be awkward, so Koina helps you meet other church members and build relationships around shared interests, hobbies, and life stages.
How to use Koina
At the most basic level, you can start building connections in 3 simple steps:
1. Download the app and fill out your profile
When you first join, you’ll be asked to fill out some basic demographic information (like your age, gender, and marital status) and interest information — these will help us to connect you with others who share the same interests and life stage!
2. Join or start a hangout
Based on your profile, you’ll receive invites to hangouts that you might be interested in. Join one, or start your own!
3. Build real relationships, one hangout at a time
By connecting you with people who enjoy the same things as you, you can find your community to do life with outside the four walls of church.
